A sixteen year old has been charged with the murder of Tassanique James the 11- year-old student from the Clan Carthy Primary School. The teenager was charged on Tuesday by members of the Major Investigation Taskforce following a question and answer session. Investigators say he was one of three named as a person of interest in Tassanique’s killing early last month. On August 1, Tassanique was among several persons standing on Bread Lane in downtown Kingston when a group of men opened fire. Tassanique died from a wound to the back of her head. She was buried on Saturday.
