The Wakefield police in Trelawny have commenced a probe into Wednesday night's drive-by shooting in a section of the parish which left a teenager dead. The dead teen has been identified as 17-year-old Rajae Dean of a Bounty Hall, Trelawny address. Reports are that about 9:25, the police were summoned into the Pinnock Street area of Bounty Hall where residents reported that they noticed a Toyota Axio motor car speeding away after gunshots were heard. The police discovered Dean's blood-soaked body lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the Falmouth Public General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No motive has been established for the deadly attack.
