Over 73 persons have been arrested for identity fraud since the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency began using facial recognition software last year. This was disclosed yesterday by National Security Minister Robert Montague who also said 473 persons have been identified with multiple passports. The software is installed at the 15 immigration kiosks located at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, and the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. It is now also used in the passport production process.
