918 students at Clarendon school benefit from Upgrading project

A total of 918 students and forty-five staff members are benefitting from a better learning environment due to the improvement works at the Clarendon-based, Hazard Primary School. The upgrading project was undertaken by the European Union sponsored Poverty Reduction Program (PRP), which addressed issues of overcrowding, poor fencing and the necessary upgrading of the sanitation facility for students.
The Hazard Primary School Rehabilitation project was done at a cost of over (JMD) Twenty three million dollars ($23 million) with the community contributing over 7 million of that amount.
