Another accused in the multi-million dollar pension racket at the Accountant General's Department, has pleaded guilty. Wayne McKenzie, who appeared in the Corporate Area Criminal Court yesterday afternoon, pleaded guilty to conspiring with other persons to steal $8.4 million from the Department. He's to be sentenced on November 24. The mastermind in the racket, Julio Parkinson, an employee of the Accountant General's Office, was sentenced to three years in prison in March this year after he pleaded guilty to stealing $21 million in the pension racket. Five other accused are scheduled to stand trial in February next year.
