Yesterday in the highly anticipated ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys' and Girls' Athletics Championships, Calabar's Christopher Taylor demonstrated to Jamaica that he means business. The young prodigy clocked a superb 46.33 seconds to establish the first record of the event's 106th staging, which is now under way at the National Stadium in Kingston. The 16-year-old, dubbed the 'Wonderkid', erased the previous mark of 46.64 seconds set by Devaughn Baker of Jamaica College in 2013, as he threw down the gauntlet on day one and set the stage for what is expected over the next four days at the five-day showpiece event.
