The last album Caribbean Pulse released was Stand Up, 10 years ago. After a self-imposed break, the Los Angeles band is back with a new single. Blessed is the title of the song which was released November 1. It is from their pending album, Yesterday, which is expected to be out in early 2014. Caribbean Pulse is built around founder and rhythm guitarist, William Smith; he is from Belize. Ten years ago, Caribbean Pulse made inroads with the minor hit songs Dry Your Eyes with Tony Rebel and Jah Is My Rock which featured Damian 'Junior Gong' Marley. Those singles appealed to fans on the United States west coast, Canada, Belize and Australia. However, the busy schedules of band members on other projects prevented much touring. Smith says that is about to change. In addition to pushing the Blessed video, Caribbean Pulse is looking to put in extensive road work to promote the song and Yesterday in the new year.
