Clifford Blake now acting as Commissioner of Police

Clifford Blake is now acting Commissioner of Police. He replaces George Quallo who stepped down yesterday after nine months in the post. The Police Service Commission has commenced the search for a new Commissioner. And Judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Bryan Sykes, will take up duties today as acting Chief Justice. He succeeds Justice Zaila McCalla who retired yesterday.
