Confident water polo teams begin medal hunt at CCCAN today

Jamaica&;s water polo teams are confident they will be a force to be reckoned with at the 26th staging of the water polo tournament as part of the Central American and Caribbean Swimming Confederation (CCCAN) Championships in Trinidad & Tobago. A 29-member delegation of players and officials departed the island yesterday for the twin-island republic, where they will bow into action against Puerto Rico and Barbados in their respective categories today. The tournament will run through to June 28. The Under-18s will oppose Puerto Rico, Barbados, and the host nation in their division, while the senior team will oppose the host, Cuba, Venezuela, and Barbados in Group A in the Open Male category.
