A police man who was recently convicted of murder had been employed by the Royal Cayman Island Police Service at the time of his conviction. Tyrone Findley along with a co-accused policeman was found guilty of the January 2010 murder of Anthony Richards in Manchester. The Cayman police service said that his supervisors and colleagues here in Jamaica gave him a solid recommendation and did not mention that there was an investigation against him. His employment was terminated following his conviction on November 19. Tyrone Findlay was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
