Defending champs STETHS open season with 10-1 drubbing of Black River

St Elizabeth Technical High School hammered Black River High 10-1 at the Montego Bay Sports Sport Complex on Saturday for a bright start to the defence of their ISSA/FLOW daCosta Cup title. Striker Romeo Brown led STETHS to the victory as he scored a hat-trick with Javani Brown and substitute Calvin Campbell each getting a brace. Ironically, the best goal of the game was that of Black River, which came from Gelani Green, who netted from the edge of the STETHS area. Interestingly, seven of the goals were scored inside the second half.
