A fiery exchange, including one death, since Saturday, is being reported by the Clarendon police as the latest manifestation of a recent flare-up between two rival gangs in the parish capital, May Pen. The destruction of some five houses between two communities - Bucknor and Farm - over a two-day period has been linked to the feuding gangsters. Two of the fires took place on Saturday morning in an area known as Long Gully. On Monday morning, three other houses were torched, with a body being recovered from one of the dwellings. The May Pen CIB is investigating the overall impact of the gang feud in the town.
