Five More Suspected Dengue Cases Reported In Antigua & Barbuda

Health officials in Antigua & Barbuda have reported an additional five suspected cases of dengue fever in the country.

These additional cases increase to 15 the total number of suspected cases from April 2018 to January 18,2019. Only two of the cases have been confirmed.

The information was released by the newly created Dengue Task Force.

Alfred Athill, Director of Pharmaceutical Services, confirmed to the team that a number of rapid dengue test kits will be imported shortly.

The Central Board of Health has increased the number of inspections being carried out by the Vector Control Unit in various communities.
