Forecast shows less severe drought conditions in Jamaic

Forecast on drought conditions in Jamaica, shows a less than harsh period will be experienced in Jamaica for this year, when compared to 2013. This was revealed by Glenroy Brown, Senior Meteorological Technician at the Met Office of Jamaica. The yearly dry spell which typically begins in January lasts for three months and projections are for “abnormally wet” conditions in the central part of Jamaica, with normal to abnormal conditions in the east, the Jamaica Information Service reported.
