Former Commissioner-General of Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) Viralee Latibeaudiere, is taking her legal battle with the government to the UK Privy Council. Latibeaudiere recently lost her battle with the Ministry of Finance, over the termination of her contract. Last month, the Appeal Court threw out the case on a technicality, when it found that the TAJ boss failed to file her fixed date claim form, within the prescribed 14-days. Her legal team strongly disagreed with the ruling. Attorney Hugh Wildman said that the court delivered its written reasons on Monday.
