A man has been taken into custody following a ganja bust in Manchester on Thursday. He was nabbed by members of the Area Three Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division during an operation about 10:00 o'clock in the morning on the Winston Jones Highway. It is reported that the police signalled the driver of a Toyota Caldina motor car to stop. However, the driver sped away and later crashed into a sign post. The driver was held and during a search of the vehicle, 200 pounds of compressed ganja was allegedly found in several plastic bags. The driver was taken into custody and is scheduled to be questioned on the weekend.
