Girlz Take Positives From Warm-Up Loss

The final warm-up game against Scotland provided another memorable moment on the Reggae Girlz's historic path to the Fifa Women's World Cup, but it also provided a few lessons which the players are hoping to build on before getting to France.

The Girlz, who have been unbeaten since their historic qualification to the World Cup, went down 2-3 to the Scotland team in front of a record 18,555 spectators at Hampden Park yesterday. It was the biggest crowd by some distance to watch a women's game in Scotland.

With this being their first defeat in the last six games and the first time in a full field 90-minute contest since the naming of the final 23-member World Cup squad, the Girlz took a number of positives from this Scotland outing as they prepare to head to Lyon for a final pre-tournament camp before bowing into World Cup Group C action against Brazil on June 9.
