ISSA on collision course with JAAA and Coaches

There have been some mixed reactions to the new amendments by ISSA proposals to limit athletes to the amount of events they can do for the upcoming Boys and Girls Athletic Championships. Among the amendments are that class one athletes will now be able to do two individual events and two relays while field events athletes will now be allowed to do three events. The 400 meters hurdles will now be split in class 1 and class two as well. Head coach at Jamaica College Orville Brown says the late adjustments will create some disruption in their training schedule, while Wolmer’s High School for Girls coach Michael Carr says the changes are in the interest of the athletes.
