The Jamaicans who were due to be deported from the United Kingdom this morning, have arrived in Kingston. The group of 47 landed about 10:30 a.m. at the Norman Manley International Airport. They have been taken to a location on Deanery Road in St. Andrew for processing. Protesters gathered outside the Jamaican High Commission in London on Tuesday to demonstrate against Jamaica’s cooperation with the deportation flight. The small group of protesters, led by the group Movement for Justice, demanded that the deportation be stopped.
