Jamaica's first qualifier for semi-final at the World Junior Swimming Championships

Jamaica had its first qualifier for a semi-final at the World Junior Swimming Championships in Dubai when Timothy Wynter broke his 15-17 and Senior National record in the 50-metre backstroke to post a time of 26.81.
He will contest the semi-final later today. In the 50-metre freestyle heats Sidrell Williams was Jamaica's top performer clocking 24.71 for 48th while Wynter was 56th in 25.06.
