The Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA) is sifting through applications submitted for the post of Director-General. The post, which was recently advertised, is slated to be filled by next February. Chairman of the JCAA, Michael Hylton said there have been a number of applications both from persons in Jamaica and outside of Jamaica. The post of Director General became vacant on October 6 when Leroy Lindsay resigned. Deputy Director General of Regulatory Affairs, Nari Williams-Singh, was appointed acting Director General.
