Maroon 5 may be heading to the Super Bowl next year. According to E! News, the Adam Levine-led band are the current front runners to play the Super Bowl Halftime Show after having "extensive talks" with organisers. Other acts that have been rumoured to play the next show include Coldplay and Bruno Mars, who last played in 2014. Last year's Super Bowl was headlined by Katy Perry, and featured guest spots from Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz. Perry's performance drew 118.5 million viewers, the highest viewing figure in the show's history. Super Bowl 50 will take place on Sunday February 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara in California.
