Since Jamaica’s justice minister Mark Golding announced in October that certain aspects of ganja use will be legal, the reggae community has rejoiced. Roots band Mystic Revealers have teamed with hot singer Chronixx on the song, Herb Must Legalize, which acknowledges the Jamaican government’s decision. Mystic Revealers retains three original members (singer/songwriter/guitarist Anthony ‘Billy Mystic’ Wilmot, drummer Nicky Henry and bassist Leroy Edwards). The band released a number of strong singles in the 1980s and 1990s including Saw You Smiling, Religion and That’s Life. The band was briefly signed to Atlantic Records affiliate Mesa/Blue Moon Records.
