There is another appeal for the National Works Agency (NWA) to fast track plans to fix the drainage problem in May Pen, Clarendon after heavy rain on Sunday left a number of streets inundated.
The downpour, which lasted about one hour, again caused extensive flooding on the compound of the May Pen Hospital.
Leaking roofs and water from the compound flooded the walkways making it difficult for hospital staff and visitors to move around.
Clarendon Central Member of Parliament Mike Henry has renewed his complaint about the failure of the authorities to deal with the drainage problem from Soursop Turn to May Pen.
Mr Henry also lamented the lack of planning in the construction of the May Pen Hospital.
He said with the dry spell being experienced in sections of the country, Sunday's downpour would have harvested gallons of water. However, there is no catchment facility at the hospital.
