The Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners today granted parole to O.J. Simpson on some charges in connection with kidnapping and robbery convictions done at two Las Vegas based sports memorabilia dealers. Last Thursday Simpson who requested leniency while expressing regret at his actions stated that he has attempted to be a role model in jail. But even though he had some of his convictions dropped he will still remain behind bars on other convictions which he was charged for. The former NFL player still faces four more years behind bars on sentences that will run concurrently.
