Pakistan withstood some tight bowling from the West Indies to take Wednesday's opening day honours in the third and deciding test at Windsor Park in Dominica. Only 69 overs were possible on a day affected by rain, with Pakistan who were sent to bat reaching 169-2. Azar Ali ended 85 not out with veteran Younis Khan on 10. Ali posted a 120 run second wicket stand with Babar Azam who made 55. Shan Masood who was one of two changes to the Pakistan X1, made 9. Roston Chase 1-27 and Alzarri Joseph 1-39, were the successful bowlers for the West Indies.
