A woman who was taken into police custody for allegedly stabbing and injuring a district constable during a domestic dispute on Tuesday in Seaforth, St. Thomas has been released. She was not charged. The woman was released yesterday because the injured district constable is yet to provide investigators with a statement. The district constable, who is attached to the Operation and Support Team at the Yallahs police station, remains hospitalised in stable condition. The woman, who is said to be his girlfriend, allegedly stabbed him in the groin.
