Francella Browne a Jamaican national and Trinidadian Nathaniel Hamlet
both accused of being in possession of forged documents, were each
remanded in Antigua. Browne who was denied an extension of her stay
in Antigua was arrested and charged with Hamlet after a raid at the
Trinidadian’s home on August 31, where fraudulent papers were found.
The Jamaican who is four-months pregnant, reportedly occupied the
room where the damning items were located. According to media reports,
Browne arrived in Antigua in 2012 and was required to leave on July
29, however an effort to extend her stay was denied. Both have been
remanded until October 21.
