The country’s top football competition – the National Premier League – has received a major boost as title sponsors Red Stripe has signed a five-year deal with the Premier League Clubs Association (PLCA). The five-year sponsorship deal was announced at Red Stripe’s Spanish Town Road headquarters on Wednesday night. The financial details of the sponsorship deal were not disclosed. But PLCA general manager Andrew Pryce said his association was satisfied with the new commitment. The previous three-year deal, which ended last season, was worth more than $45 million annually.
