Popular Clergyman Reverend Merrick Al Miller is a free man today, after paying his one million dollar fine, last evening. Yesterday, the court sentenced Miller to pay a fine of one million dollars or serve 12 months in prison. Mr Miller has said he will not appeal the sentence. The popular pastor was found guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice in July, after then fugitive Christopher Dudus Coke was found in his company. Miller has maintained that he was taking coke to the US Embassy, to hand him over to the authorities.
