The sentencing of Dr. Christopher Clarke, who was last week found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving, was postponed this morning in the St. Catherine Circuit Court. Dr. Clarke, who is the principal of Shortwood Teachers' College, has been remanded until March 7. The court was told that the probation report was not ready. Dr. Clarke was found guilty for causing the death of Yvonne Brown. On March 16, 2014, Dr. Clarke was involved in a crash with a motorcycle along the Old Harbour main road in St. Catherine. Ms. Brown was a pillion on the motorcycle. Prosecutors say Dr. Clarke was driving in a reckless manner which led to the mishap. Dr. Clarke testified that poor lighting along the road caused the crash.
