The Organizers have said that this year's Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run has been oversubscribed, however, they still need more donations to hit the $50-million target they have set in order to meet the needs of the Spanish Town Hospital Neonatal Unit, and St Christopher's School for the Deaf in St Ann. The annual 5K, now in its 20th year, was earmarked to attract 25,000 participants. However, Ingrid Card, executive director of Sagicor Foundation, said that the weekend registrations have topped that number. Scheduled for Sunday, February 18, the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run is the largest road race in the Caribbean and has raised more than $250 million in donations for numerous beneficiaries since its inception. The Suncity Team will be live on location. This year's event is themed '20 years of running for a purpose' and is being staged under the patronage of sprint legend Usain Bolt, Miss Universe 2017 second runner-up Davina Bennett, and CEO of Dynamic Lifestyle Patrice J White.
