St. Thomas residents and interest groups continue to express anger over the revised plan for a south coast highway. The residents have rejected explanations given by the National Works Agency and are insisting that the plan should not change. Prime Minister Andrew Holness last week announced that the extension of the four lanes from Harbour View in St. Andrew to Albion in St. Thomas, will instead end in Bull Bay. There will be upgrading of roads between Bull Bay and Morant Bay, Morant Bay to Port Antonio and Morant Bay to Cedar Valley. The residents rejected the plan at a town hall meeting in Morant Bay Tuesday night.
