Heavy rain over the last two days has left at least two major roads in St. Thomas blocked. The Ramble to Cedar valley main road has been blocked by landslides, while a section of the Yallahs Main Road at Lowden Hill has been rendered impassable by fallen trees and downed power lines. The area is currently without electricity. A team from the Jamaica Public Service has been dispatched to the location. Flooding has also been reported along a section of the Yallahs Main road at Poor Man’s Corner. Drivers of small vehicles are being advised to proceed with caution.
