The teenager who was shot and injured on the compound of Cornwall College in Montego Bay, St. James, remains in stable condition in hospital. A source at the school confirmed that he was shot in both hands and feet. The shooting took place about 12:30 Wednesday morning, outside a building that houses cadets. The teenager reportedly saw a man with a gun approaching the building and tried to disarm him. He was shot in the process. The gunman was reportedly chopped by the teenager. None of the students were harmed. Principal, Denham McIntyre, said the injured teen was a recent graduate of the institution.
