Two British women were taken into custody following the seizure of quantities of ganja and cocaine at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and the Norman Manley International Airport on Saturday and Sunday. Reports are that the first woman was nabbed in Montego Bay when she was checking in for a flight destined to Europe. A suitcase she was carrying was searched and nine tins, some labelled 'Linstead Market Callaloo' and 'Linstead Market Ackee', were found to contain cocaine weighing approximately nine pounds. approximately 25 pounds was found in the second seizure. The cocaine seized is valued at J$4.5 million and the ganja J$125,000.
