Two men were arrested and more than 300 pounds of ganja seized in St Elizabeth on Monday night. The bust was done by the St. Elizabeth Proactive Investigations Unit. About 9 o'clock, the team was conducting a vehicular check point operation when the driver of a Toyota Corolla motorcar was signaled to stop. The driver reportedly disobeyed and sped off but the car later crashed into a ditch. Two men were held in the car, and during a subsequent search, 20 parcels of ganja were reportedly found. He police estimate the drugs weigh 323 pounds and have an estimated street value $1.6 million.
