Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz went down 2-1 to the host nation the United States in the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup final last night at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The USA took the lead in the 45th minute. The Reggae Boyz found the equalizer in the 50th minute with JeVaughn Watson with a close range from a corner kick. The Reggae Boyz goalkeeper Andre Blake had to be substituted after sustaining an injury to his right wrist. Blake won the Golden Gloves Award after being named goalkeeper of the tournament. The United States are winning the Gold Cup for the sixth time.
