Westmoreland student killed in bike crash, other driver flees

A male student of the Hanover-based Knockalva Technical High School died as a result of injuries he sustained during a motor vehicle collision in Westmoreland, Tuesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Teo Lindsay of Petersfield, Westmoreland. Reports are that about midday Lindsay was driving a motorcycle along the roadway in his community when he collided with a grey Toyota Altis motor car travelling in the opposite direction. The student sustained injuries and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Westmoreland traffic police who are investigating, are yet to locate the driver of the motor car, who fled the scene
