Singer Ginjah relays he is concerned about the lack of artistes coming out of Jamaica. It seems that in spite of the successes of Chronixx and Romaine Virgo, theirs were minimal compare to deejays and singjays. The 35-year-old entertainer affirms there is still a place for singers in the dancehall arena. He notes, “There are good singers out there, but it takes a lot of creativity to get accepted in the dancehall." He is working on his second album, a 14-track set of mainly ballads entitled, Urge to Love.
